Eastern Domestic violence service (EDVOS) will commence a free face to face training for salon professionals. It will be held in the Eastern region of Melbourne two (2) evenings each week from 6-9pm, beginning late March 2018. Everyone is welcome!

HaiR-3R’s (Recognise, Respond and Refer) aims to:
· Teach salon professionals about gender inequality, and how it is the main driver of family violence;
· Support salon professionals to understand and challenge gender stereotypes; and
· Inform salon professionals what they can do to support a client who may be experiencing family violence.

*Why Salon Professionals?
HaiR-3R’s respects the trusting relationship between a client and a salon professional. Thanks to the intimate and nurturing nature of the relationship, a salon professional can often spot warning signs of family violence and provide support.

To register your interest in attending a session, please contact: Mandy Hudson via mandyh@edvos.org.au or 03 9259 4282.
